No category for Imperial Porter, so I put this in American Porter.....
Bottle number 311 of 500.
The pour gives a a rich looking velvety black body capped with a creamy brown head. Lacing is decent. Aroma is nice and subtle....chalky cocoa and light chocolate....a little roast. Taste is very nice. Smooth chocolate milk ball like maltiness with subtle smokiness. Clean yeast profile. Roast notes are in the background. 8.5% is negligible. I never would've guessed it packs that punch. This is quite the nice impy porter.
