I love the single hop series this brewery puts out. Usually their descriptions are pretty much right on unlike a lot of places I go. This is a milder IPA bitterness wise....but it has some interesting flavors that makes it enjoyable....apricots, marmalade....I get some ripe pears as well...herbal hops more than punchy, piney or citrusy.....I bet this hope would work nicely in an ESB or perhaps an English Pale Ale/Mild.....
Hop heads won't like this but I am enjoying it plenty for what it is...as always the malt billing is light and lets the hops assume the spotlight...feels a little light for an IPA body wise though....
Overall a nicely brewed single hop IPA that showcases this new (er) hop...
