Pretty nice flavor on this, essentially an amber/red ale, with notes of caramel and honey. Very dark red in color. To me it's the smell that really stands out. Just a really great smell and a great beer to take a break from IPAs with. I could try to be critical for no reason but bemidji brewing nailed this one.

Clear, amber brown colored body. Thin off white head. Leaves a few thin ring lines of lacing.
Aroma is bread crust and fruity/spicy hops.
Taste is darker bread, caramel, fruity and spicy hops, with a little honey sweetness. Smooth balance in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Good carbonation.
Good malt balance with some spice.

Can. Copper amber color. Clear.
Caramel, biscuit, toffee, bread, earthy/spicy hops, a little bit of toasted malts, faint cocoa blended in, light honey sweetness. Nice and malty, but some solid hops to balance it out. Smooth and flavorful. A nicely brewed American Alt.
