Our Mexican Amber Lager showcases the German brewing influence on the refreshing beers brewed south of the border. Locally-malted corn paired with pilsner and vienna malts creates a crisp and dry beer with just enough rich malt presence to keep it interesting. Pair this beer with the obligatory lime and you're all set for summer!

L-Nice cherrywood-amber color with good clarity
S-Sweet toasted malts....very nice...a touch of toffee...
T-Toasted malts...smooth maltiness...sweetish...
F-Finishes relatively dry despite the sweetness....light bitterness lingers on the finish...
O-Interesting take on a Mexican Dark Lager....a different animal than Dos Equis dark or Modelo Negra but each of those including this are good in their own ways. I really like the strong toasted malt flavor....at times it feels a little too sweet but that then balances out with the dryish finish....very good beer...
