Gruner and Grain is a beautiful clear straw golden be verage with a champagne bubbly white head with equally fitting dissipation.
It smells like a grainy and earthy Chardonnay with notes of wood and tart green apples.
The flavor is much the same with a smooth oakiness and a under ripened grape.
It's lightly tart and once again very bubbly. The elevated alcohol gives zero indication, and this finishes crisp with a wood influenced dryness.
A wonderful beer overall, and about as close as one can come to resemble a nice light wine. Cheers.
