This is really pleasant stuff. Light, crisp body and fairly bitter. It's a clean and modest hoppy brew that is more of a Pale ale than an IPA. Rather watery, actually, but in a nice way. We shared a bottle for lunch on the deck and it was just the thing.
Amber brew, quite attractive, with plenty of foam in the tumbler. Not overly fragrant, but there is a flowery hop hint. A touch of citrus peel bitterness, followed by a more bitter aftertaste. A hint of yeast and a resiny note. But it's not what you'd call IPA bitterness. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Special Brews in Lynnwood.
