Described as a "Belgian white pale ale" at the brewpub in Redmond. Poured from the 32 oz growler. Modest foam but quite sudsy on the tongue. Attractive orangey amber color in the Gulpener tulip.
Sharpish, but with a pleasant malty sweet undertone. Lots of scratchy yeast flavor and a moderate bitter aftertaste. Extremely drinkable with plenty of flavor. A nice winey tang along with the hoppy burn. Very aromatic with flowery hops. Wheaty and clean tasting.
