Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a hazy, medium coppery amber with a big, three finger white head with good retention and thick lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and lightly dank hops, red berries, lemon, a bit spicy. Flavor is pale malt, citrus hops, lemon, pineapple and grapefruit. Intense grapefruit rind in the finish with a pleasant deep bitterness. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Kind of looks like a dark colored NE style hazy IPA, but has a unique flavor profile, very much leaning towards grapefruit; perhaps the most grapefruit forward IPA I've had. There are faint wisps of tropical fruit, particularly pineapple in there too. A bit one-note, but interesting enough to be enjoyable. Nice level of alpha oil bitterness. Off beat and worth a try.
