Serving: On tap, sampler
Served: 9 May 2014

Appearance: Copper colored with less amber notes than many IPAs.

Smell: Very weak assertion of any hops in the nose, to my surprise. What hops were there were mostly floral.

Taste: A disappointingly weak hop assertion in this one compared to Function's better IPAs. Malt backbone was very sweet and what hops were in the beer almost seemed to add to this sweetness, since the hops were not overly dominant.

Mouthfeel: Thinner than most IPAs.

Overall: Not Function's best. If you want an IPA, get Tangent, which is extremely better.
