5.60% ABV confirmed. Served on-draught at Haven Brewpub in Pasadena into a 4.5oz sampler glass as part of a flight of four. Cost was $2.00. I believe this was my first beer ever from Ohana, so expectations were average. Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a half finger head of beige colour. Slight creaminess, decent thickness, and bad (~1 minute) retention. Body colour is a clear, somewhat vibrant copper. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show.
Sm: Lovely floral hop character. Clean pale malts. Hop oil. Some nectary hops. Not getting any wheat. No yeast or alcohol is detectable. A mild strength aroma. No off-flavours are overtly obvious.
T: Lovely hop profile: floral, nectary, and lightly oily. Fresh. The hops suit the pale malt foundation well. Little wheat comes through. Balanced and refreshing. Lacks complexity and subtlety. A bit too bitter for the style.
Mf: Smooth, oily, and wet. Nice carbonation. Suits the flavor profile well. Good thickness.
Dr: Drinkable and enjoyable., but far from great. I’d have another at this price, but it’s not a great first impression for Ohana. Overall, I do like it for what it is.

On tap at Haven Gastropub in Pasadena, CA.
Billed as a hoppy wheat ale.
Pours a hazy honey orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but I am not getting any distinct wheat aspects from this one.
