Special witbier brewed for the TEDX conference in Sydney, April 2014. Brewed with native Australian Davidson plums. Tried on tap at the brewery.
Pours pale gold, with very translucent edge. Head is off-white, decent retention. Some lace. OK.
Smells wheaty, good fruit notes, some apple, cinnamon and plum. Nice spice, but mostly fruit. Pleasant.
Taste is fruity. Lots of apple and plum that gets a bit yeasty late. Some phenols, touch of peppery spice late. Shame about the yeast, gets a bit sharp late but overall pleasant.
Lots of fizz, gets very dry late. Needs more body.
Decent fruity wheat but some sharp edges.
