Tap at Drop-In. Poured a slightly cloudy, golden amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace. It smelled of cracked wheat, tart lemon, yeast and spices. Sweet toasted bread taste with lemon, yeast and some spiciness.

Had this fresh and it was 9%? canned says 8% and my first sip was sweet and boozy like the can says. Not like i remembered from the growlette initially. It came around though to some banana flavours and a substantial 4 pack. Havent seen any comparisons on review. Not much on the shelf like it. If you have the brand in mind and want to pick somehting up at the mart try this. Nice to see outside of the brewery taps.

Growlette share. I poured my portion into a tulip. The appearance was a ruddy/murky burnt orange color with a nice thin white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Suspectable thin lacing glides along the glass nicely. The aroma starts with some sweet grapefruit and then some sweet apple, and then some bready/yeasty contours. Spice is there, but super light. The flavor blends all of the previously mentioned aromas together nicely. Subtle sweet apple to coincide with some Belgian spice slides into the aftertaste and then on into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable smooth crisp spicy feel to it. Low carbonation feels good. Overall, it’s a nice tripel that I would have again.

On tap at the Vermont tap house.
Look: golden yellow translucent with a small white ring of foam.
Smell is the typical Belgian perhaps less alcoholic scent than most as it is only a 9.
Taste: still fairly standard but strongly done. I'm a fan of the Belgian and of high alcohol content beer so I feel it was a light choice for a tripel. Crisp taste and slightly hoppy .
Feel: sharp and pleasant very clean and refreshing.
Overall it's fairly standard but it's a good one. If you want a Belgian tripel and it's on tap it's a great choice.

On tap at the brewery
A-Pours just slightly hazy. The color is in between yellow and orange. Head starts off fluffy but dies down to a thin, white seam.
S-Belgian yeast is dominant. Zesty, nearly chalky Tripel yeast. Pale-fleshed fruit and some spice. A little bit of booze.
T-Tripel yeast, which I always find to be very specific, yet hard to equate to other flavors. Spices. Pear and apple. Light grass. Pale malt.
M-A little hot. Medium bodied. Prickly bubbles.
O-Tripels are not nearly one of my favorite styles so a sample was enough for me but I found little wrong here, just don't love the style.
