16oz can from the brewery. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with reddish highlights and a small, tan head. It left sudsy lace. It smelled of roasted malt, caramel and toffee. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a mild bitterness.

A pretty decent take on a Vienna lager. Rich color - not that dark, more like a light amber. A nice delicate aroma and a pleasant malty palate. Smooth.
Acceptable.

usually one of the least exciting beer styles for me, but they did a nice job with this, its lighter and drier than a lot of these ever are, but without sacrificing that depth of flavor from the richer grain, a nicely composed brew overall, clean on the lagering too. light amber color on this, great inch or more of frothy almost white foam. the nose and taste are the same, a kilned malt depth but dry at the same time, notes of graham cracker, toasted chestnut, and raisin, but its not totally autumnal either, instead its light and airy, very clean. the lager yeast character is there too, lightly european but not overly robust, patiently deployed though, this has a crispness i do not usually associate with the style, and the beer is almost totally gone from my palate on the swallow. toasted bread, light caramel or toffee, and faint balancing hops at the end as it warms a bit, but i like it best nice and frosty cold and tight. oddly i found this more refreshing than their kolsch on a hot day. nice lagering, good carbonation, fine proportions, and overall a little lighter to drink i think than a lot of these are, nice for a malty summer brew. well done!

The appearance was a semi-hazy lightly transparent amber to orange color. A thin cap of a little white head started and dissipates nicely. The aroma starts with a ruddy malty caramel to toffee sweetness. Moderate nuttiness. Sly grassy hops. The flavor maintains the appropriate Vienna Lager sweetness. Lingering bready aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable smooth malty feel just rolling over my tongue nicely. Low carbonation. Not cloying. Overall, good Vienna Lager that I would have again.
