Now this is a solid brew! A strong yet smooth Red IPA with a hilarious name.
Everything about this beer is fantastic. No need for a pretentious review. Do yourself a favor and enjoy one or four.

Growler from Brewfest in Ludlow. Red NEDIPA without the haze. Almost a rye bite to it. Big complex hops aromas, resin, fruity and bitter. Backing sweetness to balance. Really good.

Had on tap at the brewery. What an exciting and different brew! Has the hop-strength of the ubiquitous double IPAs but with a very different and intriguing taste- something flowery in there. Gorgeous in the glass too.

Poured from a howler.
Dark amber hue with a one-finger head in my glass. The name hooked me but will the beer itself?
Sweet and malty upfront with what appears to be a touch of cocoa in the nose. I don't have a description handy for this.
Sweet, malty with molasses and cocoa notes. Definitely on the malty side of the spectrum.
Finishes sweet as well with a little heat.
Just a really good red ale here with a higher ABV.

Had this beer last night while working the Microbrew invitational at the seaport world trade, and it just became one of my new favorite red ales .
