From the can, it pours a clear golden amber with a modest white head that slowly diminishes to a nice ring and leaves a touch of lacing. In the nose, it is grainy. In the mouth, it is sweetish, with little bitterness.

Can. Gold and CLEAR with lasting small head and lace. Lemon honey pastry (but not brett lemon pastry which is one of my favorites) grass aroma. Medium honey apricot sweetness with some toasted cereal and light ciutrs and gran bitterness. Light body lively and refreshing. I didn't think I liked it at first, but turned out to be great.

Date stamp on the can on the bottom reads "191217."
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a clear golden color with some light bubbles of carbonation rising at a fair pace to fill a little white cap of a head. Thinly, it dissipated to leave some concave sliding lace.
The aroma smelled like sweet cake mixing with some bready malt, pretty light and fluffy with a touch of some grassy hops.
The flavor somewhat leaned into the sweetness of those bready to cake-like malts initially and then seemed to develop a little bit of those grassy hops for balance. Aftertaste was semi-cakey sweet with a smidgeon of that grassy hoppiness.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fine sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good, and the ABV felt on par. Semi-sticky in the finish, but not cloying.
Overall, makes me think what's the point of BMC beers anymore. They really don't have much of a place anymore in the beer world after drinking this. It's well brewed and well worthy of preferably coming back to while I'm grilling this Summer.
