Unfortunately, not a good brew. Very watery, tame, marginally better than a Bud Light. Shame.

rather basic this one, less german and crisp than i expect from the style. its golden yellow and clear with good shine and a short white head that lasts the whole drink. it really sparkles in terms of carbonation which is nice. the nose is slightly floral from the hops, a little fruity ester is there from the yeast too, its slightly doughy and grainy, a touch of honey sweetness here too, simple, with just a slight soapy thing going on, faint lemon late as well. the flavor starts off with the grain, pils type malt, less european than i thought it would be, but clean and simple and very light. the yeast kicks in next, subtle green grape and lemon zest notes, but also a little chemical zizzle, not as clean and snappy as i want it to be, and this lingers past the swallow, which compromises refreshment value and drinkability for me, even though this remains really light. the hops are all on the back end, noble it seems, and quite modestly dosed, but its enough to help this finish and add some interest in the final seconds. it doesnt warm up great so drink it quick. they had a few minor fermentation issues across a handful of their beers when we visited and this was one of them, but not a bad effort and still an easy summer drinker.
