I am a huge fan of Drop-In Brewing drops. Some of them are seasonally welcomed by my palate, some are year-round faves. This seasonal limited release Helles Bock is a delight to drink any day.
Poured from a can into a proper Czech mug. Because it is a type of lager and why not.
The color is truly gorgeous. Deep gold, similar to a rich Czech pale lager.
Thick rich froth. Great retention.
The taste is OH MEINE GOTT. Not your typical dark Bock. This tastes more like an imperial Pilsner. With a hint of honey and caramel, but also very pale lagery. Full-bodied yet smooth.
Seriously, I will go back to the store tomorrow and buy every 4-pack they have. This is an any day brew.
