Bottle hand-carried back by the parents from a recent trip to the US North East.
Hop hazed golden colour with a big, fluffy white head. Good lacing. Impressive.
Immediately on pouring this pops with stunning amounts of citrus and fruit. Bright and floral. Once in the glass there is a complex blend of lychee and grapefruit. No malt. Really good.
For a beer that really only sees 20 minutes of hopping, this has a solid bitterness with a bit too much cohumulone for my taste. The hop flavour is there in all its grapefruity, C-hop goodness but there is a harshness to it too. Light malt sweetness. Good.
Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. Solid.
A very good American IPA. Great aroma but the flavour lets it down a little. Good stuff.
