Pours a pitch black color with not much of a head into my glass. I was expecting more even after a harder pour.
Dry, roasted malt imparts a strong coffee aroma in the nose. A touch of cocoa and cream. It doesn't stray much otherwise.
Licorice, cocoa and coffee are the three main flavors here. A bit unusual but if the carbonation is any indication...
Mouthfeel is rather unimpressive for some reason. I can't quite figure out why.
It is what it is. I can say I've better though.
