I wasn't sure whether to file this under rye beer or irish red ale.
Pours a mild amber color with a one-finger head. The use of rye is an interesting choice and I would love to see how it interacts here.
Spicy, toasty rye compliments a fairly sweet body. It's not a bland example of the style in other words.
Nice and sweet upfront with just the right amount of spice. Beyond that, there isn't much else going on.
Finishes ok but could use more body toward the back.
It didn't quite knock my socks off but regardless, it's refreshing and an interesting alternative to a pale ale, porter, etc.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
