Grateful Hands Brewing - Spare Change American Porter, poured into a Craftgeer snifter.
Look - Pours a thin black with a small fizzy off-mocha head that dissipates quickly. Great lacing.
Smell - Roasted malts with both dark and creamy chocolate notes. The roasted almost reminds me of ash or cigars.
Taste - Thin but not lacking flavor, this brew starts roasted, turns sweet briefly, then fades to ash. Very robust.
Mouthfeel - Rests roasted and charred. Medium-bodied with high carbonation. Not boozy in the least. Great drinkability.
Overall - Solid American Porter. Robust and full of flavor. Looking forward to trying more of their brews!

Appearance is black with no transparency. Smells of chocolate and malt aromas with hints of earthy notes. Tastes of dark chocolate, slightly roasted malts and fruity flavors. Mouthfeel is light and sharp. Overall an average porter but has a subtle light after taste that is more complex over the course of the glass. An interesting brew but not earth shattering.
