Overall Impression - Another solid Double IPA by Grateful Hands. I'm pretty sure that I'm drinking this extremely fresh, and it is very raw, so my concern is that this one may change significantly if on the shelf for any length of time (especially if kept outside a cooler).
Appearance - Nice color, decent lacing, and clearly unfiltered.
Smell- Strong citrus with a hint of pine.
Taste- Very raw, in a good and charming sense. Lots of lingering piney bitterness preceded by tropical citrus waves.
Mouthfeel - Perfect carbonation level mimics good pub level carbonation. In fact, if given this beer in a blind taste test, I'd probably guess it was served on draft.
A touch of lingering near grassy like character is a little distracting for me at this particular moment in time, but all in all, I love this beer. A small tweak on that finishing note, and I'd rank this right up there with the best of the best when it comes to Double IPAs.
