From the bottle, it pours a hazy amber color with a nice off-white head that lasts a bit. Scent is malty and yet piney. The mouth gets a bite from the hop bitterness, with a malt base.

nice stable and fine bubbled off-white foam. copper body with a little chill haze
malty aroma of bread crust and piney hops harmonize
taste is drier than expected but the malts carry through and it ends strongly bitter with pine again
body is medium with not too much and quite fine and gentle carbonation
Really good pale ale that fits the occasion this is named after - the Berlinale film festival that takes place in chilly winter months
