Tried this at the brewery as part of a flight. Head and coloration were fine. You get a whiff of the coffee in the aroma. The taste starts out fine, with the citrusy flavor, but the back end is a little harsh as the 9.5% abv and coffee flavor collide instead of blending together. Worth a try, and I give credit to the brewer for experimenting with this concept, but not a beer I will visit again.

Had at the brewery yesterday, first day of its release. Touted as a DIPA with coffee, this one's name is a little play on the cranky series. Pours a nice amber color, slight chill haze, with a small head. Smell is exactly what you would think, about 50/50 herbal hops and coffee bean. Flavor starts with some fruity sweetness, middle is juicy hops, finishes lingering with a charred coffee bean note. The finish is quite jarring, it's a little too roasty for this application, makes it taste very rough and husky. Not a good compliment to the sweet and fruity DIPA base.
