Growler from Brewery: This one pours a dark, milky, opaque straw yellow color. There was a bit of an off white head that leaves some lacing. Good nose. Citrus, pineapple and other tropical notes. The taste is very good. A good, fruit IPA. Pineapple, citrus, other flavors and a faint bitterness. A keeper!

Had this New England Style DIPA at the brewery, poured into a tulip stemmed glass. Decent head, off white in color. The body of the beer was apricot colored and totally opaque like a NE DIPA should be! Strong citrusy, fruity aroma is matched on the first taste. This is an excellent example of very popular style, and when you have one this good you understand why it's so popular! The 8.2% abv is well hidden in the myriad of flavors that come thru until the end with a clean hoppy finish. I hope this makes it 's way into the permanent rotation!

Had last night at the brewery, served in a tulip glass. Comes out bright orange and super hazy, small head fades to nothingness.
Big aroma of juicy hops and sweetness, some green hop leaf underneath with some resin. Right up front on the flavor this is a juice bomb. Has a solid malt sweetness up front which can't go unnoticed, big wave of juicy hops (El Dorado, Azacca, and Mosaic) leave flavors of mango on the tongue. Smooth body that surprisingly isn't too filling.
Overall this is a nice test batch from Stony, hopefully they keep the recipe the same because this beer is solid!
