A: slight haze; deep gold in color; 1 finger ivory head that receded to a wispy cap; nice lacing;

S: tangerine, pineapple, and green grapes;

T: pineapple and lemon up front; flavor is nice, but fades quickly; mild bitterness at the end;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;

O: good; would be great if the flavor lasted longer;

Poured a slightly hazy orange, not a much as many other IPAs. This one is relatively low in IBU (50), but the overall nose was full of resin and grapefruit. The initial taste was not as bitter as other hoppier IPAs Hardly notice the >7% abv. The mouthful was one the fuller softer side and ended with that typical dry bitterness.
The second and third sips demonstrated a bigger and fuller overall taste.
Enjoyable, but not something I would see

I'm not sure if this is the correct entry, but I don't know which edition Crankenstein this is. It's hopped with Azacca, Bravo, and experimental varieties.

L: Hazy, translucent golden orange with a sticky white head. Good retention and sheets of lacing.

S: Tangerine, pineapple, honeydew melon, green grape, watermelon.

T: A big punch of orange, lemon, and pineapple upfront, and then it shifts into pure grape juice with honeydew melon and cantaloupe. It actually tastes like concord grapes. Finishes lightly dry with some mild bitterness.

F: Medium-plus, well carbonated, smooth, and slightly resinous.

O: An excellent experimental IPA! Very flavorful.

16oz. can: This one pours a murky golden color. Almost no white head or lacing to it. Good nose. A mix of many different hop notes: lemon, pine, tropical are predominate. The taste is good. Just a bit of the NE juiciness to it, and a hint of bitterness. Lemon, tropical, grapefruit and fainter pine flavors. A decent brew!

Sent over from Connecticut via my friend connecticutpoet. 16 oz can poured into Crane snifter.

Juicy, hazy appearance, like orange juice, with a tall creamy head of 2 fingers. Perfect!

Aroma strikes an equal balance between herbal and fruity. Grapefruit, orange pith, and lawn all waft up to the nose.

Flavor hits right up the middle with a sharp crisp cracker bitterness surrounded by piney and juicy hops. Slightly herbacious, slightly juicy. Ever so slightly dank. I can't say it leans in any direction. Definitely detecting some Simcoe, and there's pithy grapefruit and orange peel flavors that follow. Slight herbacious and smoke on the finish.

Feel is creamy yet still retains a lot of hop resin that clings to the palate without mercy. Crisp profile up the middle.

Overall, a pretty decent IPA that takes its homage from all parts of the US.

Appearance – Half finger persistent head on a hazy deep yellow body.

Aroma – Mixed grapefruit and oranges with light grassiness thrown in.

Taste – A strong bitter flash that faded quickly, then pine and hop resins.

Mouthfeel – Sticky and juicy.

Overall – Pretty good. I expected more from what the salesperson described but was not disappointed.

Poured into a 12 oz DFH Snulip glass canned on 4/17/18. Pours a very hazy darkish yellow with a 1 plus finger sticky white head that leaves massive thick rings behind.

Smell is pine, guava, prickly pear, and a massive dose of grapefruit.

Taste folllows very big piney and slightly bitter, with hints of pear and guava but actually more aggressive in flavor really clongs to your palate.

Mouthfeel is bigger than average, plenty of life, a tad dry and sticky, and at 7.2% ABV it drinks bigger.

Overall a very nice and aggressive NEDIPA that will not blow you away, but will intrigue your buds.
