In support of the James Blackstone Memorial Library, dedicated June 17, 1896.
Straw yellow and crystal clear with burnished edges, fine streams of bubbles rise up to a minimal head. Low aroma of doughey malt and biscuit notes. Flavors initially match the nose, but morph to a subtle bitterness punctuated with sulphur. Mouthfeel starts off a little slick but finishes tingly. Good representation of the style.
