Poured from a pint can into a fluted glass. Three finger head, creamy white in color, with good lacing as the beer is consumed. The beer is light amber in color, surprisingly clear for a New England IPA. The name comes from the use of Galaxy & Gem hops from Idaho, hence the potato connection. The aroma has a hint of citrusy fruit, not strong. The first sip is more about the hops, with a taste of a traditional IPA, not a New England IPA. I'm a bit baffled as to why Stony Creek labeled this a NEIPA, when it is more clearly aligned with the west coast style. A nice mouthfeel on the back side, but in my estimation this beer has been marketed incorrectly.
