Bought a bottle of this at the outdoor Wellington food market from the owner/brewer. Batch 12.12. Best before 11.2012.

A - Poured bright with a copper colour. Good carbonation and a one finger white head. Good lace and film of retention.

S - Pineapple, caramel, butterscotch.

T - Caramelly, OK sweetness. No real hop profile to speak of. Buttery. Obvious diacetyl.

M - Good carbonation, light to medium body, sweet finish.

O/D - No idea why this is being sold by the brewer in person so close to the best before date. Seems kinda sneaky selling this to people but I could be wrong. Doesn't resemble an IPA in any way really. Needs work. Hopefully this was just a weaker batch.
