Dark, yet light, dessert stout. Very drinkable. Perfect campfire beer!

Draft at the brewery, reviewed from notes. Served in a shaker pint, Smores Stout is a deep brown-black in color and topped with a nicely retained head and good lacing. The nose carries a nice set of chocolate and roasted malts with a good depth and touches of vanilla. The flavor follows suit with a pleasant addition of lactose sweetness to the cocoa and deep roast flavors, but seems a touch thinned out - in body as well. Regardless, a nice set of characters and an enjoyable stout.
