Had this on a brewery visit in Sept 2012: but this review is from a hand-pulled half pint at the 2012 Shrewsbury Beer Festival on 1 Nov 2012.
Light amber body with a ful head of white bubbles. Biscuity malts in the nose and taste: this is a very pleasant session ale, uncomplicated and clean tasting.
I’d have liked more body depth, but at 3.8% ABV it has more than enough flavour to keep you interested.
This is one of this new breweries first two beers and I hope they go on to produce more ’provocative’ brews once their confidence and fan base grows.
