Scooped loads of this during a brewery visit in Sept 2012, including a barrel that had been left to 'lager' for three months (producing a mellow and extra hoppy feel to the brew). This review however is from a hand-pulled half pint at the Shrewsbury 2012 Beer Festival on 1st Nov.
Light and fairly dull golden colour with a good, full white head of bubbles.
This is a well hopped brew, the aroma and taste confirm that straight away: spicy, bitter and refreshing. I am also glad to say it had no 'citrus' feel to it: a big plus for me because I'm sick to the hind teeth of citrusy golden brews in the UK.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
