500ml bottle complete with plenty of sediment: opened on 4 May 2013. Given to me by the brewer (James) purely to review it for him.
Cloudy golden body with a full crown of white bubbles: I left the sediment in the bottle, pouring it later into my glass just to see what was about.
Good nose of vanilla and wheat: the taste followed the aroma very closely. As the beer warmed a little in the glass new flavours began to arrive: grapefruit and lemon notes, giving the taste a citrus character.
