Chunky hazy almost bretty (and bready) appearance. Gold, mild white head. Aroma stayed light on the spice rack, bigger on the wheat, cleaner less phenolic aromas.

Good fruity contribution of the taste, unexpected there. Mild winter wheat feels. Fractional citrus.

Pretty good stuff, clean, wheat and fruity as it warms.

The second beer in my flight, sampled after Monk's Milk. A nice bready appearance, cloudy gold appearance, nice thin head, good lacing. She's a looker. Aroma, laid off the heavy clove and banana, for which I was thankful. I'm not a witbier guy generally, and those frequent aromas/flavors seem to denigrate my experience. Here, they are held in check.

Wow, the bubblegum bright fruit flavors really jump out. For me, there isn't really an appreciable banana aspect, another bonus. Phenolic esters and funk stay away, its really about a clean wheat mouthfeel and presence, quite enjoyable, already thrusting this beer into my mind as easily the best wheat beer made in Nevada. As it warms, it complexes itself up a tad, miniscule amounts of vanilla and citrus come out.

This is a very good beer. Its like they dry hopped it with fruit stripe gum and told the usual clove and coriander to hit the road. Recommend.
