I have seen Berkley beers on the shelf for a while, so I read the reviews and I decided to try them. I also bought a Parts and Labor Black IPA.
There is no description of the beer on the website.
However, you never know with Western MA Brewers.
Lots of marginally known excellent beers in those parts.
The beer poured a cloudy golden color with a 3 F head in a Speiegelau IPA glass.
Nice lacing. Good head retention.
As the beer warmed up, an excellent aroma. Deep pine, chocolate, roasted malt, malty mouth feel.
The taste followed the aroma. Deep pine , chocolate, nicely blended with a zesty, lightly hoppy finish.
You never know with Western MA beers. A real gem. Best at warmer temps.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a mug glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color with a large foamy off-white head that fades very slowly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, earthy hops and fruity citrus.
T: The taste starts out with sweet flavors caramel and citrus. Then a hearty malt character comes in. The hops presence seems quite subdued for the style but it provides a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, while it is not the typical hop bomb that is customary for the style, this is still a solid 2IPA to drink for a long time.
