Wonderful notes from the barrel, and still retains the classic Belgian ale flavors and mouthfeel. Maybe a bit too boozy, but it's still very enjoyable.

Wonderful flavor. Soft caramel. The rum barrel aging is definitely present, but works with the ale so well.

Great, full flavored beer with excellent balance. Smooth mouthfeel and amazingly clean finish for the alcohol level. Great beer.

ACBF pour. Pours copper. Aroma is coated in rum barrel. Candied Belgian sweetness. Some citrusy notes too. Flavor is quite nice. The Belgian character is not too phenolic or cloyingly sweet. The rum barrel adds a great complementary aspect to this beer. Full, creamy bodied.

This is honestly one of the best beers I've ever had, and I'm not a huge barrel-aged fan. Really fantastic brew with a rich, slick mouthfeel. Smells as rich as it tastes, with hints of rum, vanilla, and myriad of other excellent notes. A must-find beer.
