From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled on September 21, 2014.
Basically a black pour with a long lasting tan head and lacing in the glass. Excitable carbonation.
The aroma is of dark malts, yeast, molasses, chocolate, and earth. But everything is subtle and low profile.
The body is smooth and about medium.
A decent enough sweetness in the taste at first and then there is coffee and chocolate. Sweet would be the catch word. Mild bitterness.

Bottle from Bert's
solid dark brown/black color with a moderate sized tightly bubbled khaki head. Aromas of roasted creamed coffee, with hints of chocolate and vanilla. Light earthy hop aroma. The flavor is sweet roasty coffee and chocolate with hints of caramel, cream, vanilla, and light fruit. Light to medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Flavorful easy to drink sweet stout.

On Tap at the BRGR Bar in Portsmouth NH.
Perfect jet-black color and slight mocha colored head with minimal lacing. Smells of a hint of chocolate but the roasted char seems to be the dominate aroma here. Tastes like roast with the char on the palate and bitter dark chocolate when finishing. Pretty good body stout with some "chew," if you will, for the mouthfeel. At 4.3% ABV it is very easy to drink. Really nice brew offered up by Blue Lobster.
