From the 22 oz. bomber. Sampled on February 15, 2015.

Murky brown-amber pour with a ridiculously foamy and fluffy cream colored head. Can you say "carbonated?"

The hop aroma leans toward the earthy side and there is an undercurrent of grainy malts and yeast.

Medium or better body. Astringent.

The taste also has this grainy malty feel to it and the earthy hops really bite the back of the palate at the end with a sharp, short-lived bitterness.

For a brewery that came out of the gate with some seriously Impressive IPA, this one was a drain pour and therefore a serious waste of $7.29. I can score a twelve pack of excellent beer at market basket on sale for $10.99.

Bottle from Bert's
Medium golden color with a huge bubbly creamy off white head that persists forever. Aromas of mineral water, light sulfur, orange marmalade, muted hops, and bready caramel. The flavor is somewhat earthy and resinous with a sweet dirty caramel maltiness. Medium body and carbonation. Rather unimpressive somewhat muddled beer.
