Walking past the gigantic brick chimney pumping out smoke, the vibe inside is just right--a sort of Southern neon Applebee's with irreverent signs like No Farting and some solid blues and rock jamming out the speakers.

There seems to be an upstairs, and full access to both sides of the building, but this isn't really a proper brewery location anymore, serving solely now as the Dreamland Bar-B-Que, which is fine enough as is.

The beer was less offensive than I expected. Hell, actually, the pale ale was a full on blast from the past--not delicate at all, but also not catty or overly pungent or piney--just a punch to the face that felt fittingly on style. But if all else fails, the Wickles Pickles will set you right.

I like the beers at the railyard, there are just too few. Only 3 locals on tap on my latest visit. All are lighter in keeping with the Montgomery summers. A few guest taps as well. Friendly bartender that has been here as long as I have been coming here. You may wonder why I give this place such a high rating with so few beers. That's because it is also home to Dreamland bar b cue. Nuf said.

Brewpub is right beside the minor league baseball stadium and is in a cool old brick building. Bartenders and servers are always friendly and they serve their own beers along with guest taps and a full liquor bar. They have a typical pub menu with burgers, sandwiches, fish tacos, and some southern style dishes. House brewed beers are solid and I highly recommend this place for a casual lunch or getting a beer before a ball game.

Restaurant and location pretty cool, but disinterested wait staff, mediocre beer and nachos with cheese sauce served from a can...cold...need I say more.
