22 ounce bottle 575/770. No date to be seen. Poured into tulip, poured Mrs. Strohme2 some too.
Pours a straight black, with a small mocha head of 1”. Most of the head recedes except for a small ring around the glass. Chocolate, vanilla, and black licorice. Uh-oh, something’s not right here. Green Apple right out of the gate. Fortunately it doesn’t control the beer. Vanilla is subtle but that’s where I like it. Bourbon and coffee blend seamlessly. It’s really too bad there’s that pesky off flavor or else this would be a tasty beer.
Medium bodied and slick.
