I was unsure what exactly a "farmhouse IPA" is meant to convey, but the aroma and taste are indicative of brett yeast, and that is consistent with the brewer's description as "mixed culture fermentation." In any case, Vicarius [sic] presents with a bright golden-orange color, cloudy, with less than half a finger of quickly-fizzing head that is more reminiscent of a farmhouse ale than a hazy IPA. Smells of saison, with straw, brett funk, and pepper, the latter likely contributed by the Idaho 7 hops. Pepper and citrus pith on the palate. Moderately full-bodied. An interesting collaboration.
