Quite disappointing by this. Under-carbonated with few flavors. If this had more going for it in the taste-department, then the lack of carbonation would probably not such a big deal. But as is this beer has very little going for it - even compared to other cheap pilsners.

Purchased a chilled bottle at Csák a jó sor In Budapest. Poured into a mug. Light white head dissipated quickly leaving some lacing. Color is darker straw. Mild breadt aroma. Taste is sweet malt upfront with a mild bitter finish. Decent session beer at 4.5% ABV.. Beats any of the macro lagers available in Hungary.

I had this at a great little restaurant on the Buda side of Budapest, just a block awaz from the currently-flooded Danube. One of the least-hoppy Pilseners I have ever had, and not in a bad way. Very tasty, almost sweet flavor. I do not have the developed palate that some other reviewers have, which is why I never write beer reviews, but this is too good a beer to miss if you can find it in Hungary.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
