Amber color, beige head, aroma of caramel, prunes, roasted malt, alcohol, medium sweetness, lightly bitter.

L: opaque, brown, with tanned head, foam dissipates over few minutes.
S: malty (some caramel, some bready) smell, some dried prunes as foam dissipates
T: sweet upfront, with toffee, caramel and prune juice. some faint alcohol on back of tongue. faint, but nice juicy, what i believe is hop flavor in the supporting background.
F: sweet, but not overwhelming
O: fine beer. i don't have too much experiences with doppelbock, but this certainly tastes OK to me.

Pours a dark golden ruby and brown color, very little head.
Smell is sweet, caramel, fruit, with a little roast, chocolate.
Flavor follows the nose, a bit sweet, more caramel, some smoke and candied sugar and toffee.
I guess you could say it is medium bodied, but it's a bit thin and watery, not quite thin bodied, but in between those two.
Overall, not bad.
