Something about this beer was very nostalgic. The smell and even the taste was like what I remember how beer was like in beer pubs when I was a kid (although I never had one back then…) but still, the impression, the memory remains.
Golser makes quality beer for sure down there in Burgenland, very close to Hungary, and under the same or very similar geographic conditions. Might be only the nostalgia but all of their beers remind me of Hungary somehow…
This beer was also nice but as a bock it is relatively stronger due to its higher ABV, having it for lunch was a little bit different than your lager or helles would be like.
A nice beer indeed!

Clear gold in colour, with aromas of white grape, a little fruity and malty. Smooth, round-bodied and malty, this beer tastes light and flavourful. Elements of white grape and malts, with a subtle hint of grains and bitter hop at the finish. No discernable aftertastes and an overall clean palate beer despite the alcohol content and flavor-body profile.
