Pours a clear golden color. 2 finger slightly off white head. Retention is decent. There's some lacing on the glass.
The nose is very minimal. I'm just getting the faintest hint of lemon.
Taste - There's a nice "wheat" flavor - banana and cloves. On the back side the lemon kicks in. It just adds another layer to the wheat. The honey also adds a bit of sweetness to this.
The tartness from the lemon lingers in my throat, along with the carbonation. Decent bodied.
Easy drinking, and this is a delicious wheat beer.

Was passing through the Brainerd Lakes area and decided to give this a shot on tap at a local establishment. I came away very impressed. This somewhat newer brewery seems to have hit on their summer seasonal. It carries a pretty sweet, honeyed maltiness combined with a very fragrant lemony dimension.
This reminds me some of a maibock like maltiness with honey, bread, and vanilla all mingling on the palate...borders on cloying at times and has plenty of heft. 6.5% ABV. The lemon characteristics are more prevalent on the nose but also add a refreshing, spritziness to the finish to kind of balance out the sweetness.
I really like this. A bit high in ABV for my summer drinking likes but a really flavorful, unique beer. I'm getting a growler of this next time I am in town this summer.
