Ice Out is a mash up of an American IPA and an American Wheat Beer bringing the hop presence of an IPA and the malt and breadiness of a wheat beer. A healthy dose of Belma Hops bring tropical and citrus notes to the beer while the malted and unmalted wheat provides a soft bready flavor to balance out the hop bitterness.

12 oz can with a canned on date of 03/14/19 so just a couple weeks old. Pale amber or golden with the slightest of haze. The head did not last long and just a little bit of lacing. Aroma of citrus with a bit of tropical fruit thrown in. Malt is certainly taking a backseat here. Flavor is suitably hoppy and bitter. I get mostly citrus but there are some newer hop varieties in play with their tropical fruit notes. Carbonation is a bit odd as there appears not to be much life in the beer but swirl the beer in the glass and a short lived cap forms. In the end the mouthfeel is nice with a bit of a soft texture.
