Kind of a throwback porter to me. Reminds me of the delicious porters being made before the boom hit. This is loaded with flavor and character.
Rich roasted malt flavor and aroma. Impressions of coffee, coffee creamer, and milk chocolate...just a hint of caramel as well. The flavor of this is high octane with a full throttle of flavors. It is almost too full throttle on the taste.
But while the body is rich and full it remains very drinkable. Not an imperial type feel to the body. Just a great drinker.
