This an old school IPA with a lot of juicy citrus flavors.
Huge citrus aroma at the start......oranges, tangerines, pink grapefruit....then deeper into a pint some tobacco, bong resin and pine add a different layer to the aroma.
Flavor follows with the same notes...along with some additional notes of peaches..finishes with some light pine and tobacco notes.
Creamy body. The malt backing balances but stays out of the way of the hop brilliance.
Very enjoyable IPA for someone getting burned out on all the sweet hazy IPA's on the scene these days. Good to find a quality IPA outside that realm.
