Excited to try this regular bock as their doppelbock in the past has been excellent.

L-Dark mahogany color...minimal head out of the crowler.

S-Nice rich toasted malts...hints of chocolate along with figs and raisins...

T-Nice blend of toasted malts, cocoa and dark fruits (impression more of plums here)..but the cocoa impression is a bit heavy for the style.

F-Low carbonation...poured from a crowler so who knows how it was on draft at the brewery but this is a minus out of the crowler.

O-Good, quality, enjoyable bock. Need to dial down the chocolate and shoot for more of a melanoidins impression. Overall though I still like this and appreciate a brewery putting out a bock these days.
