Hazy golden with head that breaks down rapidly. Smells of Belgian yeast. Taste a bit on the malty side for the style. Mouthfeel a bit over the top as well. Not seeing bubbles, but carbonation quite present on the tongue.

An off-white head melts off quickly leaving nothing but a burnt orange brew. The aroma, although subdued, has all the right elements with plenty of green apple, orange, Belgian yeast, a touch of alcohol and a hint of grain. Malt, spice, fruit peel and waves of light fruit on the tongue. Creamy and substantial in a way many American Tripels don't get right.
An excellent outing from a Brewery who is making a deep Oklahoma footprint.

Pours amber with a slight cream colored head into my Orval chalice. Good lacing & above average head retetion
S: Pear, apple blossom, not much of a nose
T: Phenols, pear, a little booze, & caramel up front, slight woody dryness as well. Orange peel, a little caramel, dryness & pineapple as this warms, plus yeastiness & over-ripe pear, some dryness as well, plus a little more booze & some candi-sugar. Finishes with pear, yeastiness, dryness & a little marmalade & white pepper
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, boozey warmth
A nice take on the style, fairly complex, great flavors

Pours from the bottle a hazy orange, much darker than most tripels. There's some carbonation that leaves a finger of head, but it dissipates quickly. Belgian esters, clove and bubblegum are present in the aroma. Those are present on the tongue along with a touch of banana. It's fairly sweet. Medium mouth that's very creamy and smooth. I'll admit being partial to Anthem, but it's been earned by solid, well-made beers like this.

First off, the beer in 8.5% ABV not 6.5%. This is a very smooth and deliciously malty tripel. Anthem is proving once again that they are a true contender for best brewery in Oklahoma.

A pretty good tripel ale, just a bit too sweet for me.
